The sports ministry exists with the purpose of preaching the Gospel and promoting a healthy lifestyle in Ukraine. We minister alongside the local church and other ministries by participating in various events such as summer camps, street evangelism, and sport programs.

We also have a Golf Club. One of the members of our team is a golf expert and has made it his goal to help Ukrainians learn how to golf. He helps golfers develop their game at a local golf center. It is a great way to reach out to people with the love and care of Jesus Christ. Golf is also taught in most of the summer sports camps we do with orphans and young people from Ukraine. Golf is a fun sport, and the young adults are very interested and excited to learn!

Our current projects include developing a baseball program, floor ball program, and reaching even further into neighboring countries such as Moldova, Russia, and Romania.

Since there are only four of us, our biggest need is more people who a heart to serve Ukraine and the surrounding nations in the area of Sports. We need leaders who are called, ready, and willing to show Jesus Christ’s love through sports to the hearts of Ukrainian children and adults alike.

We are also in need of equipment, new or used. We find we are often lacking equipment.

For example: How can we teach baseball without gloves? How can we teach floor ball without sticks?

Meeting this need will help our ministry grow and continue to impact the lives of young adults throughout Ukraine and the former Soviet Union for generations to come.
