WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!

From 8 June to 1 July, 2012, Ukraine will be one of the host countries for the European Soccer Championship!  An evangelism project, entitled “More Than A Cup,” is in the works.  This project is focused on using the Euro Cup tournament as a tool for outreach in Ukraine.  More Than A Cup is bringing local churches, organizations and youth leaders for this evangelistic outreach. Some of the opportunities for evangelism during Euro 2012 may include the following:

-Work at orphanages and with children at risk.
-Sharing the Gospel through big screen broadcasts at Euro Cup matches.
-Sharing the Gospel through local soccer tournaments, trainings, and camps.
-Outreach and ministry at the stadiums in the cities that host Euro 2012.
-Distributing booklets, flyers, “Way of the Champion” magazine, biography movies with the elite athlete’s testimonies

Our biggest need is for people to come alongside the projects during the the months of June and July. We can’t do it alone!

Every person is free to choose the projects he/she would like to participate in. Our plan is to go into all areas of Ukraine, not just the host cities; and we strongly urge teams or individuals planning to come to go into the smaller cities and villages during part of their time here.
